Lumineers or crowns?
I want to get a smile makeover, but can’t decide between lumineers or dental crowns? Any tips?

Dean,
If you’re talking about a smile makeover, dental crowns are not what you want. While they do give you a new tooth surface, your natural teeth have to be ground down pretty far. You want to be a minimally invasive as possible with your teeth. Dental crowns are usually a procedure you use when there is too much decay on your teeth for a traditional filling or you need a root canal. If your tooth is healthy, I’d go a different route.
While Lumineers could work, I don’t think it is a good idea to set you focus on one brand. Lumineers are simply one brand of porcelain veneers. The best thing you can do for your smile makeover is to pick the best cosmetic dentist in your area. You want someone who is technically skilled AND artistic. An easy way to do that is to use the referral link on mynewsmile.com. They recommend only the best cosmetic dentists. You can’t pay to get referrals either. The dentist has to demonstrate their skill, education, and artistry.
