Can any dentist do porcelain veneers?

I was thinking of getting porcelain veneers in order to have a better smile. Can any dentist do that or does it have to be a specialist in cosmetic dentistry?

There isn’t such a thing as a specialist in cosmetic dentistry.  All cosmetic dentists are just general dentists who also do cosmetic work…some better than others.

If you’re going to have cosmetic work done, you just don’t want any dentist, you want the best cosmetic dentist you can find–one who has the technical  skill and artistry.

My suggestion would be to see who is recommended by the mynewsmile.com website to see who they recommend for your area. They’ll be qualified and artistic in their work, so you’ll get a beautiful smile from them.
