Broken denture

I was cleaning my denture, but dropped it into the sink.  When I did that the tooth broke off. I was thinking I could super glue it back on, but worried maybe that is a bad idea. Is it OK to glue it back on or do I need to see a dentist?

It’s good you asked before you took any action. It is tempting to try to do a homemade repair, but if the dentures are not placed back in properly positioned,  it can lead to some problems.  Sores would be the least of your problems.

My suggestion is you take it to your dentist’s office to have it repaired.  If he can’t do it, he’ll send it on to the lab for repair. It’s not something to just slap together.
